We have made some great progress on making issue one of Dr. Fizz, and I am excited to share the news with you.

First, we now have the first three pages of completed inks from artist Rick Alves, and we have hired a colorist! Rodrigo Charles gave us an excellent sample page so we bumped our budget a little bit to secure his work on the project. Here is a sample of his work on page one. Note these are not the final colors, but the sample (You can click on most images for a larger version):

And that is page one from pencils to inks to colors! I also have to give a shout out to Rob, our writer on Dr. Fizz. He has turned in great stuff so far, detailed pages scripted and is really adding his touch to the story as well.

Since we have not updated in a week or two, here are a few shots from pages two and three. First up is from page two, a portion of a panel showing just how the heroes of Grand City seem to be everywhere…and of all types. Whether they are bring criminals to the courthouse in pairs, or helping citizens cross the street, you can always count on the good natured help of a hero in Grand City!

And then there is this from the official Dr. Fizz Instagram (updated by artist Rick Alves…thanks Rick!). From page three, a panel of Dave and Mercy hard at work saving people…..money! Hey, not all heroes wear capes…

That’s about all for now. Well, we did find a letterer too, but that part of the book is still a ways away. Thanks for stopping by, please be sure to ‘Like’ our Facebook page for more updates.
